Participating Districts: Cohorts 1, 2, & 3

ECLC's participating school districts serve increasingly diverse student populations from prekindergarten (PK) through 12th grade. Several of ECLC's districts are designated as “high needs" districts, which indicates a high number of students with disabilities, English language learners, and/or those who are economically disadvantaged. Districts face challenges in meeting the needs of learners with diverse assets and needs.
As part of their ECLC experience, district teams complete a two-year cycle of professional development aimed at helping educators better serve students with learning disabilities, learning and attention issues, and exposure to trauma — as well as those who experience systemic bias related to race, ethnicity, language, income, and gender.
